Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate chopped
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons rainbow candy-coated chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time and whisk until the batter looks thick and glossy.
  • Fold in the flour and cornstarch just until combined.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 20 to 22 minutes.
  • Warm the heavy cream, pour it over the chopped chocolate, and stir until silky.
  • Spread the ganache over the cooled brownies and top with rainbow chips.
  • Chill before slicing for the cleanest squares.
