Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
- 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
- 8 ounces fettuccine
Alfredo Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Add broccoli to the skillet with a splash of water. Cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Let simmer until thickened, 3–5 minutes.
Return the chicken and broccoli to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything to coat evenly with the sauce.
Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.
