Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 4 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice baguette into 1-inch rounds and cut into hearts using a cookie cutter. Brush with 1 tbsp olive oil.
  • Toast on baking sheet for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  • Mix diced cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, bacon, garlic, remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon topping onto warm hearts. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve.
