Large skillet

Large Mixing Bowl
Wooden spoon
- 1 pound breakfast sausage mild or spicy
- 16 ounces sour cream full fat
- 8 ounces Velveeta cheese cubed or shredded
- 4 ounces muenster cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
- Tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette for serving
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x9 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage, breaking it into small crumbles, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain off all excess grease.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with sour cream, Velveeta, muenster cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and dried parsley. Stir until evenly mixed.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted baguette.
- Drain the sausage thoroughly to prevent a greasy dip
- Cut Velveeta into small cubes for faster, smoother melting
- Let the dip rest 5 minutes after baking so it sets slightly
- Serve warm for the best melty texture
- Double the recipe for large gatherings because it goes fast
