- 1 lb ground beef
- 10 oz rice noodles or linguine
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1/3 cup soy sauce low-sodium
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- pinch red pepper flakes optional
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water for slurry
- 4 green onions sliced
Cook rice noodles according to package; drain and set aside.
Brown 1 lb ground beef in skillet over medium-high; drain fat.
Add minced garlic; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in brown sugar, beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin, ginger, pepper, flakes; simmer 3 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water; add to skillet, stir until thickened, 2 minutes.
Toss in noodles; coat well. Garnish with green onions. Serve hot.
