Ingredients
  

Graham Crust

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs finely crushed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups whipping cream or cool whip whipped to soft peaks

Topping

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • extra graham cracker crumbs optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate to form the crust. Chill while preparing the filling.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  • Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the crust. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to set.
  • Once set, top with cherry pie filling and optional graham cracker crumbs. Slice and serve chilled.
