  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to help the coating stick better.

Step 2: Set Up the Breading Station

  • In three shallow bowls, prepare your dredging layers:
  • Bowl 1: Add the flour, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Bowl 2: Crack the eggs and beat them until smooth.
  • Bowl 3: Mix together the panko breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. You can also add Italian seasoning or paprika here for extra flavor.

Step 3: Dredge the Chicken

  • Thoroughly coat each chicken breast in the prepared flour mixture.
  • Dip it into the beaten eggs, coating it completely.

  • Option B: Skillet Method
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan. Cook in batches if needed.
  • Option C: Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the breaded chicken into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Spray lightly with oil spray.
