- 32 oz frozen diced hash brown potatoes thawed slightly
- 14 oz kielbasa sausage sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 small yellow onion diced finely
- 2.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese divided
- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Layer in hash browns, sliced sausage, diced onion, and 2 cups of the cheese. Stir gently.
In a bowl, whisk cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Creole seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth. Pour over mixture and stir to coat.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Saute sausage and onions first for deeper flavor.
